You're going to do fine! How could you not?! You're coming to them with experience that will help the transition go smoothly. You know how to care for your patients and the new environment is just going to give you a fresh start. The people have to be at least as nice as where you left, and if not, I'll beat them up for you.
*I expect the same reassurances when I start my new job next month;)
Originally posted by mother/babyRNThanks fergus! You get the same assurances and I will beat up any bad folks for you too...We are just KIDDING, by the way...I think besides being anxious, I am getting sort of excited too.....
:chuckle Of course kidding... Don't want anyone to get beaten up... I am sure it'll be nice for you to have a change! I can't imagine working 20 years in the same facility!!!
You know, I always have felt that the universe puts things in front (and in back) of us for a reason....I am not far away from the Warwick Nightclub fire and we knew people involved...Life is just too short NOT to try new things, right? Still, any support one receives is special and appreciated...And Fergus, I just didn't want to get accused of having a violent nature in these violent times...:)
