Starting MSN program 8/11/14

I'm starting my first online class with UTA Monday. I am so unsure of myself right now. If anyone has recently completed the program, advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance,

Pamela

MSN in Administration/Education

I was in that program but transferred to the online fnp program. I would say me sure and read the grading rubric because the instructions can be vague at times. It's not horrible but a lot of busy work.

Hi annie_m I am currently applying to Uta online FNP program any other info that you may find helpful would be greatly appreciated. How is the faculty, do you really put in 60 hrs/week as the enrollment advisor told me? I graduated from this same program a few years back with my bsn.

thanks in advance

I took the core classes first and am now starting the fnp online program classes. Advanced patho in September. I got ahold of a copy of the syllabus from the last class and it looks busy. I have either a test or quiz weekly. Discussion board with references weekly. A power point presentation and some kind of case evaluations weekly.

I can't imagine trying to do that with another class and work. I am doing the plan with one class at a time. I didn't want to fail. 83 is the new b and since you have to maintain a 3.0 gpa I was being cautious.

There is another thread that has some info with people from the program further down.
