I'm finishing my first year there now. I am concerned about the economy, but I think with nursing I'll always have a job. After graduation, I might not be doing exactly what I would like, but I'm willing to be flexable. Nursing is being effected but I think a lot less then other professions. Good luck!
I would say the most challenging thing is balancing my life with nursing school. I have two children and a hubby and all demand me all the time. I really have to pick and choose my time wisely. First semester was not that hard..this semester on the other hand, is stessful. You have to know those body systems in and out by the end of this year. Also, it's hard to see other people failing out. There have been people who failed out becasue they got distracted by "life"..whatever that included. You really have to just put everything aside and know that nursing school is what is important right now. Good luck to you, I hope you choose Mountainside, it's a great school and I love it here!
