Starting to get nervous!

Published

I am taking the PSB test July 21st for St. Mags. I am starting to FREAK OUT! I want this so bad. I am 31 and have been out of school for awhile. I never thought about Nursing until I went to the Dominican Republic on a medical mission trip. I went as a general helper. While I was there, I wanted so bad to help those people in more ways than what I was qualified for.

I searched both Borders and B&N for study guides for this test. They have all the same content but it's different at the same time. My poor nerves already and its still a week away!!

I used Barron's Nursing School Entrance Exam book to study and thats it and I thought it helped a lot!

Make sure you brush up on basic anatomy questions like where is the tibia located, etc.

Also there was 5-6 questions on electricity about kilowatts and currents ..very weird stuff to be on a nursing entrance exam..

GOOOOOD LUCK!! :nurse:

Thank you so much for the advice, it helps A LOT!! :D  When you say questions about kilowatts etc, do you mean questions in general regarding electricity or do you have to actually calculate equations? I have the Barron's book and the McGraw Hill. McGraw Hill goes in DEPTH and gives you all of these formulas for calculating kinetic energy and whatnot!! Ugh!! :uhoh3: I guess since you only used the Barron's book that it would not have all of those formulas on it!!

I just finished A&P I w/ an 87% so I should be good to go on the anatomy questions!!

Thanks again!!

Its like... How is a current measured?..and the answer would be AMPS or amperes. And How is resistance measured.. and the answer would be Ohms.

Really just study this site..

Ohm's Law for Electrical Circuits - Succeed in Understanding Physics: School for Champions

This is all I studied and I got all of them right.

There might also be a picture of electric following from a source and you have pick which way the current is flowing!

:D

Thanks, BUNCHES!!
