As long as u keep doing questions like 100 a night or more and really understand priority, infection control and delegation u will do fine. Most meds i got were common and i had hardly any content questions like u take while in school. I passed with 75 questions. Dont freak out because u cant remeber everything. Good Luck
Glamgal,
I'm taking the NCLEX-RN in just under 4 weeks!! So we're in the same boat. I didn't get to take a review course, besides the one offered at my school (not very helpful), so I'm just reviewing and doing questions on my own. I'm using the Saunders review book, and trying to do 100 questions per day from that CD. It's so stressful. But we can do it!!
Good luck!

I'm scheduled to take my NCLEX-RN in exactly 5 weeks. I'm taking Kaplan right now, and my scores are all over the place! For the diagnostic test I got a 63%, QTrainer 1= 53%, Qtrainer 2=69% and I'm planning on taking Qtrainer 3 tomorrow. My average on the Qbank is a 59%. The thing is w/Qbank sometimes I do really bad (low 50s, even a high 40 every now and then!) and then other times I do really well (today I got a 74, but I consider a "good score" anything above a 65.) I always did well on our test in nursing school, but I felt like I was able to learn the the stuff for the test and then I forgot it afterwards. So far I have watched all of the content videos, but I'm starting to get worried that I'm going to do all the questions. Sometimes I do go back and redo the questions that I got wrong but I cant help but cheat since it's so easy to recongize the answer! I do Saunders questions but they seem way easy compared to Kaplan. I also have the Lippincott's book (it's blue) which is slightly more difficult than Saunders but still easy.
And I know everyone says "read the rationales" which I do, I just know that I'm not actually remembering all of the rationales.
Okay, I just needed to vent. Besides the people I went to school w/I don't have many other friends that are nurses who understand how stressful this is. All I can think about is the NCLEX and you're all one of the few that understand how stressful this is!!
