I got a late start in nursing school but did graduate with my generalist masters degree. I've been an ICU nurse for just over a year and am a little apprehensive about applying to CRNA school at my 40+ age. Anyone successfully complete the program while not in their "less than 35" category? Any advice?

My take is that you have 25 more years to work so go for it.

Time will pass whether your are in CRNA school or not. If you want to do it, do it.
Out of curiosity, what exactly are you apprehensive about? Loans? Ageism?

I was 40 when I graduated, I think 1 person was older than I. All the other older students either dropped out or failed out. The amount of coursework is huge and older students often have family commitments. All of that has to be pushed aside.
