I am currently finishing up my RN-MSN in Nursing Education on the FlexPath route and plan to work as a Clinical Nurse Educator in the operating room. I just started a job as an ANM in the OR which I am excited to step further into the leadership role. I am two classes from being done, and I have found it to be a great way to obtain my degree while working full-time five days a week in a busy outpatient surgical facility. My goal is to finish by June and if so, I will have completed it in a little over 2 years. I recommend concentrating on taking one class at a time if you plan to work full-time. I highly recommend the school and its program. Good luck to you!

@ORNURSE84, ASN, BSN can you take 1 course at a time, maybe 8 weeks on 4 weeks off, 8 weeks on? I am in no rush to get it done and really don't want it taking over my life. I also want to be able to really focus on the material I'm learning and know it. Also, if someone on here can send me a referral link, that would be awesome

I'd love a link if you could send me one
In response to your inquiry, I focused on one class at a time. I wanted to make sure that I fully grasped the material and not overwhelm myself. I hope this helps. I wasn't able to break in between due to financial aid bc their rules are that you have a specific amount of time and credit hours that you have to obtain to move on. Good luck to you, and I hope this information helps! Heather

For the MSN, there are no exams to take. If you're looking to take only a few classes and not pursue a degree, you may find your answer by looking into each individual course. I did the MSN in Care Coordination....loved the program! As my username states, I pondering the DNP program now.
