Start LVN program or wait for ADN program?

Hey everyone I have a serious dilema:banghead:!

I finished my pre-req's for the ADN program for the community college. I applied this semester and wont start until a year and a half to two years from now. I am starting the CNA course in December and will be able to apply to an LVN program at another community college (30 minutes away) that will start in the Summer 2009. The LVN program is a full time program that will last one year and pretty much would be covered by financial aid. At the community college that I will be waiting two years for there are hospital partnerships that might help us get in sooner, BUT they do require a four to five year contract with them once we graduate.

Here comes my dilema should I go the LVN route and then do the LVN to RN bridge. Going this route I'll become an LVN by Summer 2010, then I will be able to apply to the LVN to RN bridge in Fall 2010 to start Spring 2011 and finish in a year (Spring 2012).

OR:no:

Should I wait a year and a half to two years (Start 2010 and graduate Spring or Fall 2012) and maybe try getting a scholarship through one of the hospital partnerships ($30,000 or 4-5 years of service)

Anyone help need some advice!:o
