Members are discussing their experiences with the interview process for a nursing position at Stanford Tri Valley. Some are waiting to hear back after their interviews, while others have received offers or updates about specific departments like the ED. There is also speculation about the number of positions available and the interview process itself.
This is a discussion for the Stanford Tri-Valley New Grad Residency Program in Pleasanton, for Spring 2025. The interview invites will be going out this week (1/20/25).
Hello there,
I am a new grad nurse and am trying to gather information about Stanford Tri Valley nurse residency program but cant find anything on their website. I applied to stanford but was told that tri-valley is seperate and I will need to apply seperately to their new grad program. Can anyone point me in the right direction to find information about their program? Thank you!

Bookmark this link for your future reference. Their application starts June 1st, I believe, if they don't delay their application like the last cohort.

I totally get it! I had countless rejections before this and shedded so many tears! Keep going and don't lose hope! I'm also here to talk if you or anyone wants 🙂
Hi! Congratulations!! I'm interviewing for 1 West in a few weeks- was wondering if you would be willing to share any tips or advice? Did you do your clinical/capstone at Tri Valley? What was the panel interview like? Thank you so much in advance! 🙂

How did you know you were interviewing for 1 West specifically? I have an interview coming up and from my knowledge, they ask you to choose your top choices during interview.

They interviewed for ED as well when they sent interview offers. When is this information from? Did they recently make this decision after interviews were done?
Not yet. Hopefully tomorrow.
