Hi everyone. Like many of you, I am on the California new grad job journey. I plan on applying to Stanford's residency program which opens 12/18/17-1/12/18. For those of you who are also applying, let's communicate here about our experiences!

Me too! I've heard the medicine units are adaptable acuity, so it's like an acute care unit and a step-down unit all in one, and you get trained on tele.

I think they're finished with the interviews and will be extending final offers until tomorrow by the latest. The first interview was a panel, with 3 other applicants in the same group, 4 managers, and a camera on you so the rest of the managers can watch live (it's live streaming, not recorded). Make sure to have several patient stories ready from your nursing school clinicals! That's the meat of the interview.

It's a quick turnaround. I had my panel interview, got a call the same day for an individual unit-based interview that was scheduled for the following day, and after the unit interview I heard the same day that I had an offer. Some had the panel then had their unit interviews 2-3 days later. All decisions need to be made by managers by the end of the week, so it's quick.
