Can someone explain to me what the surgical AAU's are? Are they equivalent to a PACU?

I believe its where surgical patients go when something went wrong during surgery ? to be stabilized and further assessed ? I believe- but like, only 70% sure on that

technically still hope until the panel interviews start on the 16th. I haven't gotten anything yet- anyone hear from the ED?
