Stanford New Grad RN Residency Fall 2019

Hey guys! Just figured I would start the thread for Stanford's New Grad Program for Fall 2019, has anyone heard of when the application dates are or when the website will open for applications

My app was last updated on Thursday Oct 3. I believe the assistant patient manager for the unit said I'd hear back on Friday last week, but nothing yet. She also mentioned something about doing interviews last minute last week and things were suppose to be done by Oct 4. So I'm assuming that means that interview for my unit were complete, but I also could be wrong

Possibly, maybe just a thought but I believe there's only one person in HR who is giving out offers. He might be busy as well because he just sent out an email yesterday to others regarding further instructions for employment.

Hi guys!

I am graduating this December and plan to apply to the next cohort. I am wondering if anyone has any advice on ways they thought they stood out, things that helped them get an interview, resume, cover letter, etc.

Any advice is appreciated! Thanks so much

@Panda123 I would hold off on contacting them for now. Like @BayMaxTheNurse has mentioned, the HR recruiter could be swamped and perhaps hasn't had the chance to send out the offer letters yet, especially since they're still interviewing people this week. We definitely don't want to seem too impatient.

No update for me either. However I got a chance to talk in person with a Stanford HR individual today. She currently is on the business side of HR, but has done recruiting before and knows K. She said one reason why they're taking long is because they are still conducting interviews this week apparently. Also, she said another reason could be that people who haven't heard back but got through 2nd interview are on the waitlist. The hiring process is based on a point system and you get ranked. Based on your points, you would get the position or not. If someone declines offer, your tank gets bumped up.

Interesting.. Thank you for sharing ? I wonder how long the people that received offers had to either accept or not
