Hi Folks, regarding this residency program and others around the Northern California area, do these programs typically prefer or favor students from in state or from the same area? I have been accepted by NAU ABSN and CSULA ABSN and am hoping to eventually work back in N California (born and raised) and would appreciate any insight as to whether school location has any bearing on applying to these programs? Thanks for any help!

@amigdale I cannot speak on other programs but Stanford has been extremely welcoming to applicants from all over the WORLD. Kevin the recruiter has explicitly said it multiple times ❤️

My friend received a generic rejection email for the June 2021 RN residency program. Did anyone get one too?? or hear anything otherwise?

@bayareanurse9 oh no! what time did they receive it? I have not received anything. My application says "in Process, review" what does their application say?

hers still says "in process, in review" but she got a generic email from HR ?  I'm so nervous

@bayareanurse9 sounds like we cannot rely on the application status.  Do you know what time she got the rejection email?

@bayareanurse9 Yea I've gotten that generic email too. I got one when I had a duplicate application. 

I noticed when your application is rejected you do not have the option to "withdraw" from the drop down called "manage"

did you get one for this cycle? It's weird that they are sending rejections so soon......and she doesn't seem to have the option to withdraw anymore

@bayareanurse9 no I did not get one recently. The one I got was on 3/2. I contacted ------------------ and --------------------- right after and they told me my app was still in play. She didn't have more than one application for Stanford right?
