I just read on the Stanford career site that as of today they are taking applicants for a new RN training program and I have read that many of you are looking for such programs.
Good Luck!!
I got the email telling me that I was not selected. Oh well. Good luck to the ones that are still going in and I would love to hear about your experience, what made you stand out and what backround did you have?
Don't worry everyone, we will all have jobs soon, you will see!!! We are nurses and we are needed!
I have been reading the posts from the sidelines, but thought I should join in. I got my rejection email yestereday, but my status stills says application in review and the date has changed to this week...so something is messed up. I am bummed about the rejection. Those of you that got the one on one interviews, did you precept at Stanford or have contacts? I wonder how they got to know us from the questions they asked. How did you feel about the questions and your answers? Thanks, just trying to improve.
I have been checking this forum since applying back in December, but have yet to write a post. I thought I'd write a post just to put in my 2 cents (since I always want to read what everyone else says).
I had a panel interview last week and was called yesterday to come in for an individual/department interview next week. My Stanford application status still says "application in review" and hasn't been updated since Feb 2, so I'm not sure how reflective that is . . .
Good luck to everyone. The bay area sure is competitive!
I emailed one of the nurse recruiters a few days ago and she says my application (which is "in review" online) is in the hands of the manager(s) and it's up to them to contact the candidates they want to interview. And she told me to let her know if anyone called me within the next week. So I don't know if they are still in the process or done by now.
