Just wanted to start a page where people can update each other as we all apply to stanford's new grad program! ? 

Inpatient Psychiatry called me for a second interview around 3:30pm today! ?

Hello everyone. Got a call earlier that I got accepted onto the Float Pool!! Just to help ease some tension, please do not stress. You don’t need to have a second interview in order to get accepted into your units and they are continuously sending acceptances this week and the upcoming week. I wish everyone best of luck!

Wait you got an offer without a second interview? You must have aced that panel interview! Congrats!!

@Shastaice Congrats! Do you know what time they called you? During the first interview they said they would call us by 5pm yesterday. Did they mention anything about still sending out acceptances? Trying to see if I still have any hope here ?

Sorry forgot to mention after my float pool interview Wednesday, they called me 5 hours later saying If I was down for an interview the next day ??? thankfully it all worked out. Hopefully you hear soon!

You still have hope dw. I think I must’ve been a special exception but almost every cohort in the forum in previous years has said even if you’ve only had 1 interview, or 2 and you don’t hear back in a while, there still is a chance. I got along with the hiring manager during the interview which could’ve been the reason why I got called. Hopefully you hear soon!

Anyone else get a callback for a second interview but also get an automated email saying they selected a different candidate at 1am? I am so confused.

I interviewed Wednesday the 26th for Surgical Division 2 and just got a call for a 2nd interview this morning.
