Stanbridge College Irvine LVN program

Published

Hi Everyone,

I just went on a tour at stanbridge college yesterday. I am interested in becoming an LVN. I was highly impressed with the campus and faculty! Any advice on the LVN program would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you.;)

Hi,

I am going to see the campus tomorrow to find out info about the program. Have you started yet? Was wondering about tuition and when the next classes start.

No, i have not started yet! it was a nice campus! But the tuition is exmemberve like $31,000.

I graduated from that school and passed my NCLEX on the first try. The lectures will become unbearable since you are in class for so many hours. Try to pay attention and understand the main concepts, they will be useful for the NCLEX and the exit exams. Also during clinical, try to do as much as you can, so you get some experience. You will have to study period. Read the ATI books; those will help with the ATI tests. Reviews were also very helpful for the tests. Good luck! When you take the NCLEX- the Pearsonvue trick really works.

ALL the negative reviews are 100,000,000% true. I'll leave it at that.

I have a friend that graduated from there this year and she is already working in a hospital. No hook-ups, she did it on her own. You have to realize that all of the private colleges are for profit, they are hard because you have to teach yourself a lot of the time. If you have the determination and you really want it then it's worth it. In the end all that matters is you passing the board and getting your license. Most private schools private or not are pricey, unless you are lucky enough to get into a adult-ed school or something (it's not easy). If you qualify for financial aid, then you may only have to pay for half! If you trust in your gut that its the right school go for it!

Hi everyone, do any of you taking the science pre-requirements (For the RN) at Standbridge College, please let me know how classes go. I am thinking of taking the classes there but just not yet, I would appreciate some feedback. Let me know about the teachers there, I know the classes are expensive but I would like to know what I will be getting myself into before taking any classes there. I know this is a new program!!!
