School Nurse's,
I am having a real issue with school staff's children who constantly are in the clinic. At time's teachers have asked me if they can stay here the entire day because they feel sick....DUH !! Now just because you work here does not mean you are exempt from our protocol where if your child is sick you will need to come promptly and take them home.. DUH !!
Do you notice that staffers' expect special favor's.??

Is there a district policy about staff members childrens using the school nurse?
I think you misunderstood my post. My point was that I have many staffers who would rather have their child lay in the clinic all day sick. And we don't allow this with any student. If your child is sick...they must go home. Just because they work there does not mean you can deviate from the rules. This was not intended to be a nasty post. Just a concern for me. Thanks.

I have the same problem here! It is just assumed by "them" that I won't mind their kids staying in here with me all day!!
