First timer starting off the school year.
What all do you go overwith the staff at your pre-school starts staff meeting (if you have one)?
We don't have any diabetic's or epileptics, only a handful of asthmatics & epipen kids & other health issues. I have to go over epipen administration, but beyond that I'm kind of stumped. BBP training is a video we all have to watch on the computer. We're a K-3 school of around 300 kiddos.
TY!

I like to start off with talking to them about school policy and clarify the criteria for sending kids home; especially the hot topics. Remind them a student doesn't go home for vomiting if you don't think they're contagious, we don't send kids home for head lice and don't do classroom head checks, just because a kid tells you they had diarrhea they don't automatically go home, there is nothing in school policy that prohibits kids from stinking, and so forth and so on. Then I get into the food allergy training, etc.
