I am new to LTC as a Staff Development Coordinator and have to basically start from scratch with the development and implementation of an education program here at my facility. My previous position was DON at a facility and I have administration, management, and staff experience, also working in staff education at an acute care hospital.
I am wondering if anyone can help me out/point me in the right direction of a good place to start. In particular, so that I don't have to re-create the wheel, I am looking for powerpoints/education on the 12 mandatories (I'm in CT). I would appreciate ANY and ALL advice you are willing to provide.
