Has anyone heard about the new St. Thomas University FNP program, Miami Gardens? Is it accredited? Anyone in the program?
@hospitality020 if you prefer you can email me. But I'm in adult FNP class right now along with the clinicals. We are using the Dunphy 5th ED book. The term just started a couple of weeks ago. I failed the first 2 test after studying the book and PowerPoint. Anything would help. Thank you for taking the time to respond.
Hello Hospitality020, I was reading this thread to see if I can find some advice and tips on how to be successful in the FNP program at st thomas and I cam across your thread. Any advice and tips I am taking pharmacology currently extremely struggling and I am trying really hard not to give up . I see that you were successful in the program that's aweosme that school is a hard pill to swallow. Any help will be appreciated thank you .
@BernadinChera it will depend on which instructor you have for pharmacology that will help you out. I remember pharmacology and patho were difficult. What questions do you have for me?
@hospitality020 congratulations on your success ???…I am starting the FNP program in a few days and came across this chat that’s making me a little worried…do you have any advice, materials, study guide or anything that you think will be beneficial to me please can you email me at [email protected]
Hi all,
I am just finishing up my first class in the FNP program. I just took one due to the shorter Summer 1 term and to ease myself into it. My next class is Patho and I will be taking that class only for Summer 2. So far it has been pretty straightforward and manageable. I am willing to help with any questions/update as I go along. If anyone is farther along and has any tips or insights- I am all ears! ?
@Miss Cola I am starting patho and another class on the 26th. I would like to talk to you about a few things if you don’t mind…can you email me at [email protected]
@hospitality020 Congratulations on completing the program! I wanted to say thank you for the information that you have shared. It was very helpful to me. I wanted to ask you a question about the last course. Can you please email me at ————-? Thank you so much!!

They made many changes during my schooling but I think overall they made the decisions to help their students. I plan on taking my FNP exam in the next upcoming months. I was doing my FNP program full time which meant that I was taking 2 courses every 7 weeks and had a full time job with a toddler at home. It was tough but I felt that finishing the program in less than 18 months was better than taking the regular 2-3 years to finish a FNP degree.
