St. Philips College 2013 Fall LVN Program...

I'm turning in my application for the Fall 2013 LVN Program today. Has anyone applied and gotten in? How is it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yea orientation is August 23rd! 8-4pm!!

So they're going to register for our classes for us? We don't have to go in there and do it with them?

I'm pretty sure the letter said the lady we emailed for confirmation is supposed to register us. Although, she hasn't done it yet. I kind of wish they would hurry up so I know my classes don't interfere with my husbands. He is taking day classes & I am taking evening so we won't need a babysitter for our daughter.

Yeah I wish they would hurry too, I need to know the exact amount of my tuition and fees for my student loan since I don't qualify for full financial aid. I hate how all this is at the last minute, I feel like there is so much to do in such a short amount of time. I hope everything works out with yours and your husbands schedules.

I know I wish they would register us already. How many hours will y'all be taking? Have y'all completed anatomy 1 &2, nutrition, psychology? Also have y'all registered for ur background check?

I'm not sure how many hours. I already completed all those classes you listed. How do we do the background check?

Yeah I have all of those classes done, I'm not sure how many hours I'll be taking this semester though. Have y'all done that canvas class yet?

I haven't done the canvas class yet. If we have already taken classes online with canvas, do you think we still need to take the canvas class?

I was wondering that too, because I took a class with canvas already as well. I re-read the acceptance letter and it said that we have to bring a certificate of the course when we go for orientation, so I'm pretty sure we have to do it anyway.

I just tried registering for it and it wouldn't let me, and the face to face classes are already over... Let me know if you have any luck.

I think the CRN number given in the letter is wrong. Try CRN# 20457. I registered for the canvas course with that number & it works.
