St.Pauls School of Nursing 2014

Published

Hello All,

I was wondering if anyone was applying to SPSON for the fall 2014. I went to their open house and took the entrance exam. I will be submitting my application soon then taking the hesci exam. I was curious to know if there was anyone out here doing the same ?

Hi,

I am doing the same. I just got back from taking the entrance exam. I will be taking the HESI exam on march 7th! :)

did you take the hesi? did you get an acceptance yet?

Just be careful with that program. That school has no accreditation by the nursing association.

Actually I heard they recently became accredited. Also checked the website to confirm?

hi i took the hesi how was it for you?

Hey,

I am applying to St. Pauls, have done some pre-req. Have the entrance exam in two weeks and lets c. I have had my share of bad experiences and don't know what to do. Am scared of private schools. But yea they got accredited recently and it sure hell beats a LPN program.

Accredited by whom? Last time one checked neither St. Paul's campus was accredited by the NLNAC or CCNE. Nor will they likely become so if their board passing rates do not improve.

Recall something posted here that St. Paul's had begun the process of becoming accredited and were listed as "application in process" or some such on the NLNAC's website, but then they subsequently withdrew from the process.

Specializes in direct patient care/ekg/phlebotomy.

St pauls is a great school...very hands on...I took the Hesi last year it was simple math grammar and reading. I left for a sememster because I had to work at the hospital but will be attending in august 2014 yayyy:sarcastic:

St. Paul's wouldn't have CCNE accreditation because they aren't a bachelor program school. If you look on the American Association of Colleges of Nursing | CCNE Accreditation, only colleges and universities with bachelor programs get CCNE accredited.
