Hello All,

I was wondering if anyone was applying to SPSON for the fall 2014. I went to their open house and took the entrance exam. I will be submitting my application soon then taking the hesci exam. I was curious to know if there was anyone out here doing the same ?

I go to Nassau CC but live in brooklyn.

Its not too bad driving ..provided I don't get stuck in traffic. Does anyone know if theres parking privileges at the parking lot for St. Pauls ? just wondering

The president told me we get student discount on the parking lot.. He said it brings it down significantly.

So I was looking at threads of people that applied to stpaul last year and the whole admission process was slightly different anyone know why

I asked the president about the changes. He says it's to find out whose really cut out for the program. Before it just seemed like whoever passed the HESI a2 had a chance. It's them trying to raise the standards of the school instead of it being a "money making school."

I also believe that the changes also has something to do with their chances with future NLN accreditation. The thought is the harder the admissions process, the higher their NCLEX passing rate and it looks good for them .
