You're definitely in.  However, do not wait to reach out to your admissions rep to get that ball rolling. There will be A LOT of things to get done before you even get your class schedule. And don't forget to have your transcripts ready so that you can have some credits transferred. And make sure they review it well. Good luck!

Thank you so much! I'm going to keep calling my advisor ?Good luck on your semester!

Guys I’m really nervous I might be kicked out of the school now cause I’m first completing my tap and applying for financial aid now ajd the deadline was today I just spoke to the financial aid girl she’s so sweet but I’m not sure if my admissions rep is gonna accept my tap now did anyone else has troubles with tap or anything?

Hello!!

I submitted all my paperwork and application. I did pass the test. How long does it take to get a reply back from the advisor?

You should be getting an enrollment agreement next if you haven’t already don’t get excited it doesn’t mean your accepted everyone signs it but when your accepted you’ll know cause the admissions rep will email you your email login for Microsoft office and such and my advice as I received that from my other peers keep being annoying to your admissions rep!! You’ll get your answer soon!

That's how I got notified, however my advisor said they have not accepted anyone as of yet and we should receive a response this month. Did you apply for Queens or SI?

Hey ladies! I recently found out that I got in (Queens) just wanted to say Hi! and touch base with everyone.

If you are looking to work in New York, you need to know that the State now requires all nurses to obtain a Bachelors Degree in Nursing within 10 years of receiving their initial RN license and in order to keep the license - and other States are considering having the same law.  See here:

http://nursing.buffalo.edu/news-events/nurses-report.host.html/content/shared/nursing/articles/nurses-report/posts/BSN-in-10.detail.html

I understand that the attraction to St. Paul's (and other non-accredited programs) is that it is easy to get in with no need to take the PAX-RN/TEAS/HESI tests like what is required in CUNY and SUNY- but the problem with St. Paul's and other non-accredited schools is that their credits won't count towards a Bachelors degree - So, if you go to St. Paul's, what may happen to you is that you'll work hard to pass their program and then pass the RN test to get your license, but then realize that you still need your Bachelors to keep the license you just worked so hard to get, so - if you want to attend CUNY or SUNY - you will still need to take the PAX-RN/TEAS/HESI test to get into a nursing program, anyways.

Another option is to get a Bachelors degree and then apply to a school that has a Bachelors-to-RN program - it will take the same amount of time if you had gone to St. Paul's and then a four-year college but at least the Bachelors degree will have some value - and it may be easier to get into a nursing program this way, I don't know.

Or, you could pay a lot of money to attend a private four-year college, like Wagner, LIU or NYU.

Either way, the credits from the non-accredited school won't transfer - So, know that if you go to a non-accredited school, you are very likely wasting your time, even if you pass their program and get your nursing license.
