Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hello guys, I am currently registered to start the Nursing program at St.Paul school of Nursing and would like to know if anyone have already taken the program or currently taking the program can tell me about the classes.

Hello,

I am still in the process of waiting to hear back. I passed the HESI and submitted my transcripts. I wanted to know how long did it take for them to give you a decision? Thanks

I am waiting back for a descision as well for Summer 2022. Fingers crossed.

Praying for the best! Did they send you an email to make a student account already with an email?

Yes I received it but I think that’s sent automatically.

Hi future nurses! I'm seriously considering attending SPSON in May. The only issue is  the accreditation. Supposedly they are regionally accredited and not nationally. There are a few BSN programs that will accept not all. I found a review and messaged the young lady asking Did things get better, I'm thinking about attending the school but I'm seeing terrible reviews... She responded and said she graduated in December, things were still bad but they transitioned to in person and a lot of the good professors left so theres talk about the school loosing accreditation soon." she responded 4/5/22 5:34pm. She also said she graduated with her associates, passed NCLEX on first try and is now attending a BSN program ?

I did notice on  NYSDOE it stated in 2020 or 2021 55% of students passed NCLEX on first try... The partial accrediting that they do have if students continue passing at such a low percentage I'm assuming they will lose it. So I am hoping the next few graduating class brings up that stat because I cant imagine attending and they they lose all accredits.....

So right now we should all just be researching on their accreditation. SPSON states they are institutionally accredited on their site. I also looked into ASA college when I researched their accreditation it said they were on probation. Therefore I did not proceed with an application there. Is there a way we can get a copy of their accreditation contract? When does their accreditation expire? Or are they in good standing for at least the next two years..?

I passed my HESI last week. They called in about 3 business days...

Heres a link showing their next evaluation accreditation will be Spring 2022

I was told I was going to committee Thursday and I'm waiting to hear the final word. I got email to sign in to their school email and a school account.  I spoke to a old friend who attended several years ago. She loved it and now works in RUMC ER. But yeah the the accreditation is a worry for me

I spoke with state their next eval is 2024. I'm enrolled now.

Hey everyone,

I applied for the queens campus(my last resort) for the fall semester. I'm a little confused because I got the link to sign up for the student account(mycampuslink) however it's not working. does anyone know if they are done accepting students for September ?

Someone should have contacted you regarding a welcome letter,  financial aid, etc and orientation. I had a brief introductory meeting a few weeks ago, did my vaccinations and titers and ordered uniforms. At the Staten Island campus orientation is August 30th and classes begin Sept 6. Good luck to you!

@Michele Savino Thank you for the information. I sent my admission advisor another email , I just feel like I have been emailing her twice to three times a week which may possibility annoy her. Good luck and congrats on the upcoming semester.
