I applied as well. I received an email last night stating that they finished the first section of review and are moving on to the goal statements. They anticipate answers within the next 1-2 months (due to high number of applicants) with notifications sent via mail. As of right now, my online app status still states that it is being reviewed.

I did apply as well, got the famous email too about completion of the first phase and now focusing on the goal statement. This wait is nerve wrecking guys.

I got the same email. So did everyone make the first round of the application process? Were there any eliminations? How does this work?

Lol, how can that be possible? 200 candidates making it through the first phase of the application process for a "small size class". I am kinda curious to exactly how many students gets admitted each year. Good luck to everyone. Did anyone also apply to Minneapolis School of Anesthesia????

I haven't heard anything yet. I've been checking my mailbox like crazy. I have not applied anywhere else at this point. Saint Mary's is my first application.

Hey guys, I have also applied this year. I have been checking my application status and it has been saying "under review" since I submitted it. I know last year, statuses had already updated for some people to say "denied" by mid-May. I am hoping that the lack of status change is a good thing? One would think that they would have eliminated people BEFORE moving on to the goal statements based on resumes and transcripts..

I applied as well. My portal also hasn't changed from "Application Under Review." Does anybody's say anything else? Hopefully they are not sorting through 200 goal statements.

Yah, you would have thought that they would have made a round of cuts BEFORE moving on to the goal statements! Making us wait for 3 months is killer! I am trying to plan out the next 6 months and everything is in limbo waiting on this decision!
