I was just wondering if any one has received a response from SLMC GC about the schedule of PGNT1 for batch 2? I already have submitted my requirements and I have paid the initial training fee just recently but I haven't received any text message yet about the schedule of the training. I am just a bit worried because I received a call from a number I don't recognize on Friday about 5:30 AM and I wasn't able to answer it. SLMC told me that the training will probably start last Friday but then again I haven't received any text message from them. I hope the number is not theirs and that the training will start soon. :|

What about age limit? and if they will accept fresh grads/no experience in a hospital at all?

Thank you!

Hello. I'm not sure about the age limit as well. I don't have any hospital experience too but I just passed my requirements and they accepted it. Again, just try your luck and pass the requirements. Who knows, you might get a text/call soon just like what happened to me in Makati Med. :)

They don't seem to care regarding past previous experiences since everyone they hire will undergo their training, equalizing everyone. Not sure about age limit but they're very strict regarding BMI.

Anyways, has anyone here been called for PGNT who passed their resumes through email?

Hello. Are you referring to SLMC-GC or SLMC-QC?

Yes, I heard that they are very strict regarding BMI :)

So I guess I need to go on a diet first, hahaha!

do they have age limit?

Hello jedfort. Sorry for the late reply. I've been all over the place processing my applications in these two hospitals. To answer your questions, I graduated in 2010 and no, I don't have any hospital experience yet. I didn't put my BMI in my resumè but I included my height and weight though. I've passed all tests and interviews in Makati Med just last week, and they just texted me to report for a medical exam on Wednesday. Wish me luck. :) I hope I answered your questions and if you have more to ask, just do so. I'll try my best to answer them based on what I had personally undergone during the process.

leftleadpunch, I'm not sure if they have restrictions about age. I haven't heard of anything about that so I suggest you just pass your documents to them since they're pretty much open to accepting them. :)

goodluck on your application chriscaptures.. just want to ask, would it be best to apply online or pass the requirements directly to slmc-gc.. i don't have ivt training yet still waiting for the april 1-3 sched. should i wait after the ivt? thanks :)

Thanks. It's much better to pass your application in person so you can make sure that it really goes to the HR. And oh, I suggest that you pass it directly to the HR office and not to the guard. They usually prefer those without training, since they will be the one to provide you with such once you get in. So if you're really bent on pushing for SLMC, I suggest that you don't take any trainings because they will not be considered and you'll start from scratch. Otherwise, take them if you plan on applying in other hospitals. :)
