St. Jude as an RN

Hi all! I am interested to apply for a job as an RN at St. Jude. I am currently a pediatric hemonc nurse in Florida. I have never been to Memphis area, so I do not know the area. Anyone work at St. Jude that can give an insight about the culture of the hospital, benefits, payscale, and where to live. Thank you.

Hi there! I currently live in Memphis and am a Peds RN that worked at Lebonheur. I've never worked at St. Jude but what I do know is that most people that work there stay there. They have a friendly culture and nurse-driven, as most magnet facilities. I have several friends that work there and the pay is more than the comparable Pediatric hospital, Lebonheur. At LB a peds RN with experience generally makes $25/hr+.

St. Jude is located in the downtown Memphis area. Most young professionals gravitate to downtown/midtown area. A quick google search will show you what Memphis has to offer as far as living. Cost of living is not as much as other parts of the country but can be much when you factor in how much you're paid. All in all, I love Memphis and you absolutely can't go wrong with St. Jude!

Hope this helps!?
