I know a lot of people that used to work there and didn't care for it. According to them, it was unsafe due to staffing i.e. tripled with ICU patients.

I work at St. John's contingent but not ICU, however I have a friend who likes it. She works MICU and she loves it, she worked on an ortho floor taking care of 9-10 patients. So I guess coming from that floor to the ICU working with 1-2 patients, I would love it too. I do know that when I worked full time there, every night I worked the MICU has a code blue--literally EVERY night. But the staff on nights seems to be happy with each other and work together, that makes a difference too.
know anything of the SICU/TICU there?
I don't know much about the SICU, I know it was hard to get a job there and from what I heard the nurses were not that friendly. But that's just hear say...
