St. Francis college (Brooklyn, NY) transfer

Published

Hi does anyone have any info about the nursing program at St. francis in Brooklyn? Im applying to their program for Spring 2021 as a transfer I wanted to know if anyone know hoe competitive they are. I have an B in A&P 1, an A- in A&P 2, an A- in stats, B+ in chem, and I take micro bio next semester. My overall GPA is a 3.5 and my SAT score from 2 years ago is a 1280. Does this seem like I have a good chance of getting in?

Hey guys!! Just an update, but I got in 2 months ago :)

Congratulations!  Can you tell me how you found your first year at St. Francis? I will be going in the fall. Any advice you can give would be great.

Thanks!

Hey, could you please tell me what nursing program you were accepted into? I applied to a number of nursing schools and was sadly turned down by all of them. I chose St. Joseph's in December and was waitlisted. It's been nearly 7 months. Admissions kept encouraging me to wait until I got a callback and email, then follow-up every 2-3 months to see whether I got in, but I still haven't gotten a response. I have no idea what is going on. I'm not sure when they take applicants. (They stated only 32 out of 100 get in since it’s a small program.) If  you have any knowledge about their program, that would be really useful. Thank you very much. I'm praying for the big acceptance letter. ?

Hi there,

I was able to get into Hunter, Pace, LIU, St Francis & NYU's Nursing programs.. I ultimately chose LIU for personal reasons and I graduate in December! Since you have not heard back by now, I would say to set your sights elsewhere, but still follow up. I would continue applying to other schools or reapplying hopefully for next Spring. Good luck!! I hope it all works out for you.

Congrats!! I’m trying so hard to get into the fall semester this year. I spoke to an admissions counselor, they told me they anticipate to be informed of availability by the end of this month/ beginning of July. So I’m hoping for a miracle to happen ?? I’ll keep you updated.

Hi! So are you currently attending St Francis? If so, how do you like it?
