Hi does anyone of u here march2008 batch of sro nurses who passed under HOP or MoH? anyway i am under HOP who's still waiting for UP TO NOW! imagine.. im so annoyed and frustrated!!. I went to SRO last mo. they said I shud wait for their txt for departure slip. Is anyone, or does it? or maybe Im all alone..waaah here waiting for their txt deployment. I had a friend whose been deployed this march4. Im left behind.
By the way FYI. Im orig assigned at prince Sultan cardiac center at Al Qassim then been txted last Oct2008 by SRO to be transferred to King Abdulaziz hospiital at Bisha. HHAyy!! I need some sympathy guys. Gudness!! . Should i quit withdraw my files or shud kip waiting? thanks a lot.
Hi every one! My final evaluation in SRO was last Aug.12, 2010... I am still waiting for their txt for my flight schedule.. The letters written infront of my folder was in Arabic. One of the ex-saudi that I met in SRO said that it was AL-QASSIM....and some numbers written under it.(which I don't know if it was my salary offer) Can you give me some info about the place please... I have no idea on which part of Al-Qassim will I be assigned and which hospital. I am under MOH. I heard that MOH applicants will get higher salary, right? Please guide me.. Thank you and God bless...=)
I received a message from SRO last Thursday. I'll be leaving n the 26th. I'm assigned in King Khalid Hospital - Al kharj. . .

Im confused with MOH and HOP. are those two different entities? coz in my offer of appointment, the one written there was "Ministry of health (MOH) hospital operation programme".
I applied as a paramedic in King Saud Medical complex. Anyone here who will be working in that hospital?
That means, you're under HOP. HOP is a subcontract of MOH. The processing of papers will just be 'inside' the hospital and you dont need to go to MOH anymore when you arrive in the Kingdom. There is an office in the hospital that does all the papers works for you. So, HOP is an easy route.

Accommodation is not included in our offer and we will be given housing allowance instead. Will we be provided with a temporary housing facility (how long if are we allowed to stay there if ever) upon arrival or do we have to look for a place to stay immediately when we get there? And if so, will they give our allowance already or do we have to use our own money first?

i dont think they recognize volunteer experience in the middle east..however i think you can find a job related to your experience as a company nurse not as a staff nurse..Good luck!!

For the volunteer experience, I think not. But for the company nurse experience, yes! But if being a "in-hospital" staff nurs is what you are referring to in your post, you're going to hava a hard time with that, so I think no.
If I were you and if you have a good background and training in the occupational setting, I'll apply in the same setting abroad. That's a lucrative field especially if you will be in the oil and gas industry, be it landbased or offshore.
your experience as a nurse volunteer will be counted if your applying as a staff nurse but mostly those who have 2yrs hosp.exp are qualified, i dont think your experience as a company nurse will be recognize.

july 14 --- exam / interview
july 15 --- briefing / pdos
july 16 --- medical examination
july 28 --- repeat cxr / rbs
aug. 05 -- poea evaluation
aug. 06 -- visa payment
aug. 12 -- sro final evaluation
sept.13 -- received a text message from sro regarding flight advisory
sept. 22 or 23 --- report to sro to get the departure slip
sept. 29 -- flight schedule to ksa...............................................:)
Hi!! I'm getting bored waiting for my departure slip... I had my final evaluation in SRO last Sept 3, 2010 and they just informed me to wait for their txt... How long am I going to wait??? till next year??? I already resigned from my current work last Sept 13, 2010.. so Im currently jobless.. I inquired last Tuesday Sept 21, 2010 in SRO but the counter told me.. " Wait for the TXT!" that was the only information they gave to me..
