Just wanted to throw my situation out there and see if anyone has any advice or feedback.
I originally wamted to be to be active duty Army when I first graduated at age 23 with my BSN in 2012, waited until I had enough experience and completed enough of my packet to get to MEPS where I was given a "lifetime disqualification" for pancreatitis (my common bile duct got clogged with gallstone sludge when I had my gallbladder removed and my amylase and lipase bumped, but I was not actually diagnosed with pancreatitis). Of course I thought that was harsh and applied for a waiver. I was subsequently denied a waiver from the ARMY due to using a PRN medication for chronic constipation, which has since resolved post gallbladder removal and I've not actually taken the PRN since my gallbladder removal.
I am now accepted to a CRNA program which starts soon. My desire to serve hasn't waivered. If anything, I want to serve even more than I ever. I would like to apply again, this time as an SRNA for the STRAP program. I've looked into the program as much as I can without contacting a recruiter.
My my question is this- would MEPS still have my original physical and denial (under my maiden name) on file from Spring 2014? Should I be honest with them and attempt another waiver? Can I even try for another waiver? Or should I be vague with my recruiter (tell them I did go through MEPS once but at the time decided against joining). Could I attempt to get a waiver from Navy or AF since my original waiver was only from the Army?
Additionally, I would love to hear experiences from current CRNA reservists.

I recently went through (struggled through?) MEPS and I hate to tell you... MEPS is the point of medical clearance for all the uniformed services. If you contacted a different recruiter from a different branch, your SSN would be used to send you to MEPS and they would hear back about your previous DQ. Additionally, they harped very hard on the legal consequences of fraudulent enlistment (same or worse for commission I imagine) for things as small as hiding minor drug use, minor medical history, etc.
Your best bet would be to contact a recruiter with your strong resume and CV, be open about your previous DQ, and get working hard on a waiver for an in-demand position.

You can check with the other services — their needs may include you. But please, never try to commit fraud while joining. That really just isn't in line with military values (as we'd like them to be, haha). They will find out, and as Euro_Sepsis said, there are consequences.
