Thank you for the warm welcoming! I've joined allnurses.co to get some input about Springfield, MO tuition reimbursements. I will be moving in the beginning of 09'. Can anyone PLEASE recommend the best college to attend to receive my RN? I later want to receive my BSN as well. The thing is I would love it if anyone can tell me where's the best hospital to get a tuition reimbursement. I love helping others and now I'm asking for help.
Thank you!

Contact St. John's or Cox Health Systems. Both have RN programs associated with them (I think they are both BSN now) and they used to have programs that if you worked for them post graduation they would pay a portion of your tuition. You will need to call them directly though to find out the status of their programs.
I've worked for both systems. No complaints.
Missouri also currently participates in the Health Forgiveness Loan, you can obtain information from the Missouri Department of Health website (look under Health Professionals near the bottom of the page).
Good luck!!!!

I graduated in May and was looking to move to Springfield because the cost of living was good, so I called the above mentioned hospitals and asked to speak to the nurse recruiter. I hate talking on the phone, but both of the ladies I spoke to were very friendly and answered every question that I had. Do give them a call, they were great.
Good Luck.

I start Nursing Classes in Jan. at Cox College, it has an ASN program and a BSN program, they are currently working on a Masters Program.
