Hello, I am possibly going to be admitted into the Spring semester for nursing school. I was wondering what is usually done in that extra fall semester. Is it possible to start taking some core classes from nursing school to not be behind a semester? Is there anyone else who has experienced this? What did you do in that semester, and what is the best way to use that time?

I'm not sure I understand what you're asking. If they admit you for Spring, it will be for a Spring cohort. You shouldn't be missing anything.

I am in an ADN program, with planned admittance to the Spring 2014 cohort for clinicals. I have completed all of my prerequisites, though. For this fall semester, I added a dual major of General Studies, and am taking 4 classes that I will eventually need for my BSN. I didn't want to waste a semester.

Good day, Fursans:
I start my RN program this coming January 2015 (my prerequisites were completed this past May). This fall semester I'm taking three classes, two of which I was told will help with clinicals. Abnormal psychology and physiopathology to help with clinicals, and a chemistry class to count towards my BSN (I'm in an AD program, dual enrolled with a local university for the RN to BSN program).
Thank you.
Great input guys thanjs
