Spring 2017 Rose State

Hello everyone! I just applied for 2017 Spring traditional program at Rose State. I had 120 points. I was just curious who all applied and how many points everyone had :)

I had 111 and 121. I didn't apply last semester because my math compass had expired it's 3 year window. If I would've known that was an issue, I would've been prepared but unfortunately I wasn't.

I pray you get in this time. Wow I can't believe you didn't get in with 121. I have a friend who got in last spring with 120 points. I applied with 125. Fingers crossed and hoping for the best . Best of luck hopefully between now and 2 weeks we might be getting our letters.

I'm getting so anxious to find out. I wonder if anyone has received denial letters yet?

Still waiting! Has anyone tried to call the nursing dept office? I've heard in previous application periods that students have been told their application status over the phone after the acceptance and denial letters have been mailed out.

So, I called the nursing program office this morning. She said that they have not mailed any letters yet. That it's a tedious process, they are working on it, and they should be mailed before Thanksgiving but she informed me that the website says they have up to December. She said we all need to be patient because they are working on it but it takes a lot of work and time. I can imagine that it's a lot of work to go through each application but I AM GOING NUTS!!!! I guess I will stop stalking the mailbox this week.

If anyone gets anything let us know!! :-) Good luck everyone.

Update.... I had my husband call and see if he could get more info.

She told him that NO letters have been sent out at all as of now; no denials no acceptance.

She also said that the career track cutoff was 80 and the traditional track was 111.

I got my denial letter today. It said the cutoff was 111 as the previous poster stated. I'll try again next time. Congratulations to all who were accepted!

Psbuchanan, I'm sorry about the denial. I don't know what your points were but hang in there. This was my 3rd application and I hope it gets accepted. I know how disappointing it is to get that letter.

Wow, I have exactly 111 points! I guess they've already sent letters out? I really hope I make it in and not be made an alternate!

I swear time slows down everytime I walk to check my mail and I can hear my heart beating in my ears! I have never experienced so much anxiety! I really hope we hear something soon! í ½í¸£
