Anyone applied to the Spring 2017 northeastern Accelerated BSN program? I just applied and now waiting on the committee's decision. So nervous, but very excited and hope to get in!
sorry for another comment...anyone who is interested can find the Facebook group at Log into Facebook | Facebook
or search Northeastern ABSN Spring 2017!
HI, I just got accepted to Northeastern ABSN for the May Entrance! However, I will have an infant and really need an idea of what the schedule looks like so I can see how much childcare to line up and if it's feasible. Looks like 1-2 days were clinicals (all day?) plus exams and labs in Burlington. Were those full days? Part days? Is there any pattern to this schedule so I could plan on 3 regular days childcare per week and that would work for the whole semester or does it change by the week? Any help would be appreciated!

Hi, abk100! I'm a Semester 2 nursing student. I actually made it off of the Fall 2016 waitlist and started last fall instead of Spring 2017. You can email me if you want and I can tell you all about it. I also have a friend in the program who has a child and I can get you in contact with her, too. I can give you info about what the days are like but her input on child care and how to plan your schedule around a child is probably more valuable than mine. You can email me at [email protected].
I'm in my first semester and lab is the same every week and only 3 hours. Clinicals will be scheduled days too but you are out into them depending where you live and which semester you are in. Exams are the same day every week and an hour long. There is an awesome lounge though so being able to stick around and meet people or study is a good idea. This program is much less time committed to be somewhere than others
Hello -
Did you guys have to complete the TEAS exam prior to submitting your application? I also received some information about needing to complete a CSS Profile but I am very confused as to what that even is. Plus it's going to cost $9 + $16 per school but I have no idea what that website is even for?
