  1. Hi all, I was just accepted to the Spring 2017 cohort and I will be moving from Bay Area, CA. Really looking forward to starting the program and meeting you all!
  2. @kathywasabi I wasn't accepted to NYU either but to be honest I would've hated living in NYC. I was wait listed for Duke and I've already applied for SMU, waiting for their decision. I have already taken most of the pre-reqs for SMU such as pharmacology and pathophysio.
  3. Hey @kathywasabi did you get into nyu?
  4. Has anyone still not heard anything yet??!! I applied a few days before the regular deadline but it seems like most people have their answers by now. Am I the only one? Don't know if this is a good thing or a bad thing it's do late and I haven't head anything...
  5. I also have the teas test manual and purchased the 2 online tests. I guess it's the science part that I am having most trouble with. The questions are pretty specific and there's a lot of them. Dear Summer, did you find the actual test was harder or easier than the practice tests in the manual?
  6. No it's not, but the school's average is in the high 80s. I'm generally a straight A student in school so it's bewildering why I've gotten 80 on all three practice tests so far!
  7. I am scheduled to take the TEAS test on April 28. I have just taken my third practice test and am SUPER discouraged with my lack of improvement. I was expecting to see improvement with each test I take but so far it has not been the case and I do not know what I am doing wrong! After each practice test I went through each question I got wrong by analyzing my thought process, and determined why the correct answer is correct. I feel very positive going into each practice test, but I cannot seem to get any better than an 80%. Does anyone have any advice as to how I can change my study habits? Has anyone found that the practice tests are harder than the actual test? In an ideal world, I would like to get at least a 90%, but don't know if that is realistic at this point. Any suggestions, feedback, etc. would be greatly appreciated!
  8. I applied to nyu as well. I saw you're in Berkeley, I'm in Emeryville! Have you considered applying to Samuel Merritt? I may also apply there, though it's pricey and I'd have to take a few more silly required classes.
  9. Hi I am also applying to the Duke Spring 2017 cohort. Are you applying to anywhere else?
