Spring 2017 NAU/MCCD CEP

Hello everyone!

I know by now a lot of us have received our acceptance letter for CEP. Information sessions for NAU are coming up in the next couple of weeks!! I'm excited to get started. I'm just wondering which day you all will be attending the information session and if there is any additional information we should all know:)

Also I heard the first couple NAU classes are in class. Does anyone know the schedule for this? (How many times per week we will meet and the time of the class?)

I have been reading a couple of threads and I heard that there are 2 classes that are in person for the first semester, and one of them is a lab. Im sure they will tell us the times for those during the information sessions. I will be going on Tuesday! what day are you going?

Yeah that's what I read too but was curious on how many times a week the classes meet. I'm going Tuesday also! What community college are you going to?

Do either of you know the dates for the Nau orientation? I was accepted to the Pvcc/Nau program today and the acceptance letter had the Nau orientation dates from 2015. Thanks in advance :)

The NAU letter that I received states the following:

Please plan to attend one of the following sessions atthe NAU North Valley campus, located at 15451 N. 28th Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85053, Tuesday July 26 from 3pm–7pmor Wednesday July 27 from 9am–1pm. Further information will be provided by email from NAU

I'm in the NAU CEP program with Central AZ College (CAC) and we started this summer with our NAU classes and block 1 in the fall. Our cohort currently attends 1 day a week over the summer for 4 hours (10 weeks) for the lab portion , 307L, of the health assessment class. We start the other in person class, NUR330 Nursing as a discipline and profession, next week and again that will be 4 hours a day (different day) for 5 weeks. NUR 307 , health assessments is online and basically you do your reading and quizzes to get you ready for 307L. Our other online class is NUR321, gerontology and you will do some discussion posts for the first couple weeks and then a blog project in the 2nd half of the class.

Im going to the wednesday session! Im with GCC and NAU! But im still waiting to hear from nau if they got my transcripts! Is anyone else having that problem? I sent them over 2 weeks ago!

I'm going to the Wednesday one as well! I'm with Estrella and nau, they received my transcripts already, you should probably try to find out what's going on. I'm sure there will be people on Wednesday to help also!

Did you send in your transripts with the application? I hate waiting until next week because I dont want to miss any deadlines, and I have no one to contact to ask!

I uploaded my unofficial transcripts and right after submitting the application I order the official transcripts to be sent to them. Then I got an email saying they received it.
