Spring 2011 charity grad-no job

I have been applying since early June, probably to over 50 positions, no calls, no interviews nothing, am I the only one? I have All certifications, strong resume, good references, searching for feedback....thinking I made a big mistake....

I graduated in May, 2011 from Charity. I have not found a job either. It is very frustrating. No one wants to hire a new grad. I live in Ponchatoula. I am willing to travel up to an hour. I have a hospital less than a mile from my house. Did you find a job yet?

No job...I didn't think it was going to be this bad, but it is....I am just sick over it! It would be a miracle if I get a job by the new year....

I've heard that this is just Louisiana. I graduate in May and I'm worried about it all the time because I don't work in a hospital. It's even hard to get a CNA job, which I don't understand because I've seen a LOT of CNA's in my clinicals who are very unprofessional. Some of the recent graduates are going through this. One I know applied somewhere in TX just for curiousity and they called her back the next day.

I work in a ER at Ochsner Westbank they hire new grads, they just hired a bunch so Im not sure if they are still looking for more.

Hey, I just graduated from CSN in Dec 2011. Several students have gotten hired at North Oaks in Hammond and some at West Jeff from my class. North Oaks seems to move fast between the first interview and start date.
