See if you can specialize in orthopedics. You may also want to look at maybe becoming an athletic trainer or physical therapist. My sister is a physical therapist and she loves it. I have a friend who has her BSN and works in an orthopedic office. She does not specialize though. There are a lot of different ways you can go with this. I would just do some research and see what appeals to you.
PP is correct. If your passion is fitness/sports medicine, PT or kinesiology (Careers in Kinesiology) would be a much better fit than nursing.
Physical therapy would be the best choice or become a PA and work with ortho/sports med. You'd see sports stuff as a NP, but I don't think you'd encounter it with the frequency of PAs.
The first time I went to college I knew a guy was getting his BS in athletic training and AS in nursing. At the time, my old alma mater didn't have a BSN. I asked him what he was going to do with it. I won't tell you what he said, but to my knowledge he never made use of the AT stuff. He gravitated to nursing because of the salary.

I am a prenursing student thinking about what I'm going to do with my BSN degree. I am really interested in sports medicine/health and fitness. Is there any path I can take after becoming a nurse in this kind of field? Is there like a NP in sports medicine or some kind of nursing specialty related to fitness?
Thanks
