I was wondering if any of you out there have applied to the St. Pete JC nursing program in Pinellas County, Florida. They have instituted a "competitive application" process instead of their older, whoever finishes with a 2.75 can be put on the waiting list process....anyhow, the first application for competitive application is in May to start in August...but another student today told me that August is first and there are no spots. Then why have a flipping competitive application process? I'm really pissed and wonder if any of you have encountered this craziness at SPJC. After Micro, I will have every pre-req completed and I already have a BS in Business too!
Yeah i will definitely try to get everything done before applying!! Ok if its just one course then maybe i'll give it a shot. i made the decision to take it SLOW and try to get good grades because what good is it to me if i get done 2 sem earlier but cant get in because of my poor grades....
anyways...i am sooooo excitetd i wanna start YESTERDAY !!!!!!!

No, in 2 years I doubt there will be a waiting list at that point, but I will say this, your best bet is finishing all your pre-req's AND THEN applying to the competitive process. That's just my opinion, since it is point based.
