Spirituality in Nursing

Published

hi allnurses,

i am praying that someone here can help me. i am writing a paper about spirituality in nursing (for my bsn) and i have to interview 3 nurses about their spiritual beliefs. i am an unemployed new grad, so i am turning to all you great allnurses nurses. i need one more person who isn't of the christian faith to answer the questions below. i've already interviews an agnostic nurse and a hindu nurse. can someone of maybe buddhist or native american faith, or any others answer the questions for me? a pm is ok if you don't want to do it here. thanks so much!!!

(1) what is your spiritual perspective on healing?

(2) what are the critical components of healing, such as prayer, meditation, belief, etc?

(3) what is important to people of a particular faith when cared for by health care providers whose spiritual beliefs differ from their own?

(4) how do patients view health care providers who are able to let go of their own beliefs in the interest of the beliefs and practices of the patient? compare these beliefs to the christian philosophy of faith and healing.
