Hello Everyone!
I just got accepted into SPC's LPN-RN Summer program, and I want to know, do we take the Teas Test? I had to take it for LPN school, but do we take it again? Also, can you work while in the program, if all you have to do is straight nursing , no pre-reqs?...
Thanks, Chriss

I'm in the class too. I went to orientation and they didn't say anything about needed the TEAs. Also, our schedule is up on MySPC. I will be working one shift a week on Monday as we have no school that day.
Thanks, for the information. I have orientation on April 15th. That's great to hear, I really didn't want to have to take that test again.
See you in class!!

It's Saint Petersburg College in St. Petersburg , FL
Hello, Have you finished all of the stuff for certified profile. I can't find the one for "waiver of license guarantee." Do you have any idea where to find it? Also, all of our stuff is on mycourses.
No, I cannot, but Kathleen Boylston at Spc said she can help with anything certified related, her email and phone is boylson.Kathleen map college.edu PH: 727-341-3483 ext 3633
Sorry everything but map.

Hi Chriss- congrats on getting in. I know in the straight nursing program, it was very hard to work and do school. I do 24 hrs a week at my job, working in the am and going to school at nights. I have classmates that work just weekends. The instructors suggest you not work, but of course that option isn't realistic to everyone. You just have to find out what will work for you. The bridge program just takes you out of having to do Level I. You merge in with Level II students. As far as testing, we test from ATI, not TEAS. Hope it works out for you!
Thank you, for your response. Much appreciated!Crystal B
