SPC Fall 2019

Published

Hey, everyone! I've been looking for a thread about fall applications for SPC Nursing program, but nothing yet! It may be early, since the application period just started on March 1st, but here we go! I applied as soon as it opened , and I'm crossing my fingers until the July 1st. Anyone else applied or planning to do it soon? Let me know your thoughts and plans, we are all together in this one ? .

Did you sign in at the orientation ? If so just get them to pull up the sign in sheet. Sign in for everything let them see your name everywhere.

Just go in and talk to someone in admin it’s probably a mistake easily enough straightened out.

Thanks I had a mini heart attack when I saw that email.

Keep in mind the vol of processing they have to complete for us certainly a mistake is possible just have your documentation or proof so they can verify it and I would think you will be fine I’d go in rather than calling good luck

Has anyone received an email from the nursing department?? I received one today stating that I have been dropped from the program due to no show up at orientation or no notice of intent received? but I did both. Did this happen to anyone?

Wow, that sounds scary! Definitely have them fix it for you, it’s probably them rushing to finish up everything before deadlines. Good luck and let us know!

Does anyone know what the NE# is that needs to be submitted to Bay Pines before the first day?

Go into the Baycare website and search nonteam and the site should walk you through there it’s a number you have to have assigned to you to do the online training before you start clinicals

Yes, register and do the training online, I just finished it and it’s pretty long, some of them have a lot of questions, very easy, they also give you the answers ? . There is Baycare training module in MyCourses/Nursing ADN commons that shows you which trainings you need to do. I hope this helps.

Thank you. I’ll check it out in the morning.

I’m at Bay Pines VA. Do the people doing clinicals at the VA need the NE number? I just want to double check. I did the online training for the VA, but was not sure if I needed to do more because I was told more is expected if you do clinicals at the VA. I just want to make sure I do everything I’m supposed to do.
