SPC 2021 Fall Applicants

Hey everyone! Looking for anyone else applying for SPC's Fall 2021 program ?

I know the open application period doesn't start till march 1st but I thought I would see if any one else is sharing the anxiety with me. LOL

I was waitlisted. Im going to try again in the Spring but I was wondering if anyone knows the chance of getting through on the waitlist.

I just went and got my first dose of the Covid shot today from Publix.

The email says you have to have both doses done 2 weeks prior to starting. You also have to wait 2 weeks in-between each shot, so that would mean you need to get the first dose at lease 4 weeks before we start.

They aren't giving us much time seeing how school starts in Aug

Yes they really have us cramming it all in to get done on time 

hopefully everyone realizes they need to start their first dose soon!

Wait, where in the email does it say anything about the Covid vaccine? I am not seeing anything about that. I already have my vaccine but now I am worried I am missing an email.

Its when you click on the "Notice of Intent Survey" and tell them that you want to do the program and you pick your preferred hospitals/times

I guess I just missed that part, when I rechecked the copy they sent I still don't see that part. weird. But thank you! I just don't want to miss out on my spot. 

Also we are going to get a more detailed email about uploading our vaccinations and getting our physical/medical records and BLS right? Because I didn't see anything on that either.

My friend that was in the SPC Respiratory Therapy program and said they tell us that stuff In orientation, which I think for us is on the 20th.

I plan on going to the health department to get my shots/records and physical. People on the SPC Fall 2021 facebook page also said you can get physicals at SPC (HEC) 66th street.

Can’t remember now where I saw it but I did. Yes they said on July 9th we will get another emailing pertaining to immunizations and physical

Am I the only one having an error message completing the survey? It says fix the errors and there are no errors marked and everything is completed? ?
