Southwest Tn CC Fall 2018

I am applying to the nursing program at stcc and am very nervous about whether or not I'll be accepted. Is anyone applying for the fall '18 semester as well? I made B's in micro and a&p1 (an 89 and an 88... so frustrating!) and an A and a&p2. My GPA is a 3.55, and I haven't taken the NLN PAX-RN yet. What are your grades in micro and a&p1 and a&p2? GPA? NLN? Any advice for the NLN or any information on what kinds of grades and scores other applicants might have? Any info would be much appreciated!

study science and math. English will take up the most time. pace yourself and read questions before reading passages

Hey kelizabeth18, I also applied for the fall18 semester. My grades are:

A&P 1-A

A&P2-A

Micro-B

NLN-120

GPA-3.3

I'm very nervous as well!! How did you do on the nln???

@teller95, I think it is suppose to be by the end of April. Judging by reading older threads from previous classes, it seems like it will be somewhere around the 21st...I'm getting nervous!!!!

That's so frustrating considering it's been two months now! Is this the only program you applied to?

Smh!! I know right!! I called a couple of days ago and they still had not even met to make decisions...Yes this is the only program I applied for. That's why its killing me so bad to find out. Lol. What about you?

For real?! She emailed me last Monday and said they were meeting this week to decide... apparently not.

I applied to a couple bsn programs but those didn't work out so .. this is my last hope. We will see! I'm hoping this is a good program? I haven't been able to find many reviews and such

I've applied for the fall as well. I called at the beginning of April but they still hadn't met to decide. She said they would notify LPN track first then regular.

My stats:

undergrad GPA- 2.9

grad GPA- 3.9

A&P 1 - A

A&P 2 - A

Micro - A

NLN- 152

I was rejected last fall by UTHSC for not having a 3.5 undergrad GPA. FYI - they will not factor in any class work above undergrad status in gpa determination and neither will LCON Memphis.

Keep me up updated on what you all hear! I ended up missing the NLN deadline so I didn't apply for SW. Everything worked out okay in the end though I got into Loewenberg!

Congrats on memphis! I applied there, but they are obviously competitive.
