Hello, have anyone graduated or are currently enrolled at SCTC in Griffin, Ga. ? I applied for the PN and ADN program and I'm scheduled to take my teas test February 17th. I'm really nervous because every school is so competitive in Georgia. Been out of college for 5 years so I'm hoping I get a good score on my teas test and be accepted.

Are you guys both applying for the spring 2019 entrance?

My GPA is 2.5 but these different entrance exams are crazy. I wish it was once one test for every technical school nursing program, or they could go down on test prices. But I hope we all get in as well and become great nurses!

Yes, they are crazy. If you're applying for the ADN program at SC Tech you have to take the TEAS 6. Which BIO classes are you retaking? If you aren't about finished, I'd recommend taking them with either Dr. Matthews in Thomaston or Dr. Williamson!! Dr. Matthews is easier, but Dr. Williamson is awesome also!!

I need to retake A&P I & II and would look to get microbiology out the way. I was thinking this summer online, it will be easier for me because of my work schedule. I will look up those teachers though, thank you for letting me know!

You know you have to apply by the end of this summer right? For the program that starts Jan 2019.. At SC Tech they don't offer those classes online. You have lab you have to attend also..

Oh I forgot about lab. I may wait for fall 2019.

If you have to wait to apply next year your TEAS scores will be expired by then. So you'll have to retake it.. Just keep that in mind.
