Southern Crescent Technical College (SCTC) ASN program - Spring 2025

Published

Hi! Starting a thread for SCTC Spring 2025 ASN nursing cohort. Is anyone planning on applying?

yes thank you I was just wondering because I was at a 475, so it must have been very steep this year. Applied on the first day also.

I'm sorry to hear that because I was at 476... so that mean majority of everybody was at a 3.9 and 4.0. GPA.

The school just posted the 2026 scores. Looks like lowest score they accepted  was 460. 93 so I am not sure what happened.

For those of us that got denied, can those that got accepted give us feedback? It says in the event of a tie they would look at when your major was declared. How long have you guys been asn majors? was this your first try or second time at applying?

ASN has been my major for more than two years and this is my second time trying. I applied last year and was denied with a low GPA of 3.65.

I would reach out to the school.

I was wondering if I should, cause my GPA and HESI were both higher than the lowest, so that made me ask about how they settle any ties.

Hello everyone!

I was accepted this morning to the Henry Campus. I was wondering if anyone knew if I would be allowed to take classes on other campuses or if I have to take all classes at Henry?
😊

Are you a transfer student?

Yes, but only 4 classes were transferred in, the other 6 I took with the school and made all A's.

I would definitely reach out! I transferred from a different school last year and learned that because of that my GPA in degree works was off a bit so I didn't make it last year. This year I made sure to stay on top of what my GPA was so that if anything happened I could answers as to why.

Don't include your labs because your labs are considered as one and if that is true, then your anatomies will be considered as two classes instead of four. And in order to qualify, regardless of your GPA, you have to have a certain percentage  with the school. That may have played a factor... but definitely check with the school.. there's a number on your denial email because I had to call them last year and she explained to me why
