Congratulations to all that got in! Enjoy this day,
Print out your Acceptance letters and hang them up so you can remember your " why " and this feeling when things get tough!
Our orientation was in October last year. I'll be glad to answer questions and give yall some tips afterwards. But relish and enjoy this day! ♥️

I do have one random question. LOL. My mom said she was gonna buy me a stethoscope as a getting in present, which ones can we have/not have? I was gonna get the Littman cardiology.

CONGRATULATIONS 🎉.. I also got accepted!! and I'm at the Henry campus as well!!! See you all in Orientation on 11/3!

You can have any stethoscope. I highly recommend Littman. Any will do, but I got the core, noise cancelling ones and I Absolutley love them. White or black leather closed toed tennis shoes, I recommend Hokas. You can have any kind of badge clip. I recommend finding your learning style now. Scrubs , socks, and jacket will come from their scrub shop. Any type of computer will do. I use MacBook and iPad with pencil and head phones . Pens and paper. And a folder. Make sure you have a lot of storage on your computer as well. And there's only one microwave at Henry so having a portable lunch heater comes in handy. Also go ahead and get all of your vaccinations in order, except for the tb. They will tell you when to do that.  I don't want to overwhelm yall with info.

For those of us that got denied, can those that got accepted give us feedback? It says in the event of a tie they would look at when your major was declared. How long have you guys been asn majors? was this your first try or second time at applying?

This was my first time applying. I applied August 1st because I had taken my text months before. I think they change your major once you apply. A tie would be like your number (GPA and HESI score) were the same as someone else and it came down to it to get in. Then they look at when you applied and your major changed.
