Published

Hi there! I wanted to start a thread for southern crescent RN program for the Spring 2024 cohort. I was wondering if anyone else on here applied?

Did you get a denial email? I haven't gotten anything yet still.. but same, mine isn't the best compared to a lot of others! I have a 3.4 and made an 80 on the HESI. Seems impossible that I'll get in but you never know.

You did a great job too!! Everyone did so well. It's really competitive.

No I still haven't received any emails either. I'm just tired of checking my email just  for it to be empty LOL.

OMG! I'm going insane checking my email 500 times a day during the week.

I applied in the middle of August and the wait is killing me! I applied for the 2021 cohort and didn't make the cut. Retook some classes so now my GPA is 3.96. My HESI score was 84.3. Seeing all of your scores makes me even more nervous than I was before!

your score is great! I'm so worried now because so many people have retaken classes and boosted their GPA. I have a 3.84 I made a b on my anatomy lab. I am so upset that I didn't retake the HESI. I made an 85.6.

I am praying my score is competitive enough. The lady at the school told me I would be fine when I took the test. I had plenty of time for a retest but I took her word for it. I am regretting it every time I see everyone post their scores. I didn't want to have to wait and retake classes and things like that. It's getting frustrating now.

An 85 is great, don't worry!! This is only about 5 out of 60 people getting accepted. I think you'll be fine. I already registered for Spring classes to try and higher my GPA because I KNOW I'm not getting in, I have a 3.4. I haven't seen anyone with a 3.4 get in

I really hope so. The waiting is killing me. I don't know what is taking them so long to even get the scores. It is simple math. Hopefully in the next couple days we will find out. it is starting to stress me out.

Are you all planning to work while in the program?

They are really taking forever, only reason I'm waiting for the email is because I'm hoping to atleast get placed on the alternative list. When I went to take my HESI one lady was telling me how her GPA was super good last year and she didn't get in. I think the sooner you apply the better. & no, I have 3 small kids! I'm a sahm

Dang, my scores are embarrassing. 3.6 GPA and 80% HESI. I applied legit 12:02am on August 1st. I hope that and my medical assisting background is something they consider. Im passed stressed at this point and they better not wait until Friday LOL
